Eyeliner & mascara

How to apply eyeliner and eyelash mascara for crossdressers
Hello everyone, This one is about putting on eyeliner and eyelash mascara. Now, having a good looking eyeliner on is perhaps one of the most important things you can do. People look at your eyes, so you don’t want black spots in your eyeballs or have it look like someone just slugged you!
Now, there are two types of eyeliner, pencil and liquid. The pencil type is easier to make look good, but you have to put more pressure on your lids. Liquid is harder to get right, but looks so much better and is faster once you know how to put it on. I myself use liquid. Whatever you use, get one with a very fine point. Go with standard black color until you get good at it.
Ok, you want to draw your lines on the INSIDE of your lower lash, not the outside. That is, you draw on that very thin ridge between where it hugs your eyeball and your lashes. BUT, you follow just OUTSIDE your lash on the upper lash, You kind of follow the base of the lashes. So, start at the corner of your eye where your nose is and draw all the way to the other side, both top and bottom lashes. It helps if you pull your skin a bit to pull it away from your eyeball.
Try to connect the lines on the far side of your eye where they meet nice and neat. Some girls draw a little curve up toward the side of their temple from the outer edge of the eye for a more seductive look. But only do this with a lot of practice, otherwise you look like the bride of frankenstein!! Now your going to find it is hard to keep a nice steady hand. If you make a mistake take a moist Q tip and rub off the mistake.
I also use the same liquid eyeliner on my brows to draw them a bit longer at each end. It helps make them look more pointed at the ends, and I can make them flare up and out. Again only do this with lots of practice or you look like you have a pair of black butterfly wings mashed into your forehead!
Once you have your eyeliner on it’s time for your eyelash mascara. Again go with black for now. You take out the little brush and press out any excess on the inside of the tube, you don’t want a huge ball of gunk on it. Now, the top lashes are not too hard, just hold the brush UNDER your lashes and with a quick flick of your wrist draw the brush up and through your lash.
Take small strokes, it takes practice to find how close you can get to your base of the lashes without sticking the damn thing in your eye. Don’t worry, if you hit your eyeball you will know! Now, sometimes a piece of gunk sticks to the lash. If so keep brushing till you get the stuff off. You don’t want to have your lashes pasted and stuck together. That’s why you don’t want much on the brush each time. Your just putting a little on each lash to make it seem thicker and longer.
For the lower lashes, you do something different. Once you make sure there is not too much stuff on the brush, bring the brush up to the ends of the lashes. Then use a sideways motion to “scrub” the brush across the lashes, being very careful. This way you don’t hit your lower eyelid and look like crap. If you get any on your lids or skin use a Q tip to get them out.
Use any good brand name liner and mascara, don’t be cheap and use the dollar store stuff, or you WILL look cheap! It takes a lot of practice to get it right, don’t give up after the first few times, it will get better. I find it helps to get a nice lighted makeup mirror and sit down doing all this.
Use a good makeup remover to take it all off. If some runs into your eye use the old Q tips to take it out. I myself just get into the shower, rub the remover on my face and get it all off in the shower. Use a washcloth to scrub your face a bit to get it all off. Well, that’s it, another tip from Betty to get a pretty face. If you play football you can use the liner for those heavy lines under your eyes too!
