Well we all made it to another Friday, weeee! Now that you’ve got your hard earned money you want to make it last. I push a lot of porn sites on here, and I am picky about who I push. I want to build a nice community site here, where we are all friends. So, I want to only push honest companies that will reflect who I do biz with.

Porn sites have had the worst rap about being sneaky and dishonest then any other biz on the net. Years ago it seemed like every one threw pop-ups, sneaked hidden charges and lots of other crap at you. Luckily they got smart and saw that by being honest they could make even more. However there still are some that try to rip you off.

So today I’m going to give you a tip about the most common rip off going on dishonest sites. It’s those damn pre-checked upsells. Here’s how they work, what they look like and what to do if you see them. Say you see a paysite you like and want to join, fine. You go to the join up page.

You might get a page first that ask you to put in a username or password, then your email address. That’s fine, go and do that. Then once you click the button it takes you to the page like above, where you put in your credit card number. Or you might just get sent straight to this page, depends on how they have it set up.

NOW, look at the bottom of that page. On this one it shows two other porn sites with boxes next to them. Each box is ALREADY checked off. It SAYS that your membership includes these two sites for free, how nice of them huh! But wait, what is that next to them? Why, it’s those pesky Asterisks! Those are ALWAYS a red flag!

Here’s where it gets tricky. That page you see above is what you see on the full page WITHOUT scrolling down. Many see this and don’t even think about scrolling down anymore, or even notice there is more to the page below the screen bottom. You see everything, fill it out and push the button.

BUT, this is what you will see if you take the time to check and scroll all the way down the page! I put a dotted line where your bottom of your screen is when you come to that page, and what is below it. Look at the fine print I have circled in black (sorry it’s so jagged). Hell you almost can’t see it.

What it says is this:

* If not cancelled within the two day Free trial period, your subscription will automatically renew at thirty nine dollars ninety one cents per month.
** If not cancelled within the two day Free trial period, your subscription will automatically renew at thirty nine dollars ninety one cents per month.

Holy crap! That means that what they really are doing is giving you a free two day trial on both of those sites. If you don’t cancel them at the end of those two days, your credit card will automatically be charged each month for $39.91 each. That’s a total of around $108.00 per month! They hope you don’t scroll down and see that, see?

So if you see ANY boxes that are checked off, read what it says next to them, and scroll all the way down to see if there is anything else, like this fine print I just showed you. Now that you know this, you can un-check those boxes and join up knowing your only paying for what you wanted, which was the one paysite.

But, let me ask you this. If someone tried to sell you a can of soda for 10 bucks, then you found out it should only cost 3 bucks and he said okay he’ll take that, do you really want to buy anything from him? Do you really want to join a site that you know already tried to rip you off? So here’s my take on it.

If the site has no pre-check boxes and everything looks good, go for it. Most porn sites really are honest. BUT, if you see pre-checked boxes like I showed you without a very clear statement of what that is for, even if you un-check them I would not join. What if they try to trick you again inside the members area?

What if they STILL charge you for those sites, even after you un-checked them? Yes I have seen that happen, it happened to me! So I would advise you to NOT join any pornsite that tries to trick you with crap like that. Many will offer an extra site or ask if you want to join a larger multi-site package, which is fine.

But they will be very clear about it, no surprises. So, always scroll down all the way on join pages and see if there is any fine print your missing. Watch for pre-checked boxes and study them to find out what they are for. I have one sponsor on here I am taking off because I have just learned they are starting to use pre-checked boxes.

I screen all my sponsors, so any on here are honest ones that I would join myself, and have. That one I mentioned I will have off here in a few days.
