This little crossdresser loves movies! To be honest, I don’t watch ANY television. No, not one bit. While everyone else is trying to outdo the Joneses with the biggest and best HD screens, I could care less if I even had one in my house. My roommates have two, one in their bedroom and one in the living room, both flat screens.

Kelly loves to watch TV, mostly true story crime or cop shows. Ashley is not as big a fan, but watches because that’s what Kelly wants to do, lol. But me, I never watch it at all. When I was a kid I was the total opposite. I would watch TV all the time, I had one in my room. Star trek, oh yes, that was my must see TV!

Also I remember I could get home from school just in time to watch all in the family and then the Jefferson’s. I watched in my room with the door closed because of my hearing loss, I had that sucker as loud as it could go! Even then I sat real close to it with my hand cupped over my left ear to hear better. Then at night I’d watch 4 hours or so of it. Plus cartoons on the weekend. Wow, that was a lot!

But once I grew up and had to do other things, like work and date, I realized how much time I wasted just sitting in front of a flickering box. I also saw how stupid most shows really are. So, I stopped watching it. But movies, well those are different. With movies you can choose just what you want to watch. Good ones can take you far away into a different world, full of action, excitement, romance and sexy babes and hunks!

I don’t like to watch a movie in the theater. If you have a bunch of friends and your just out for a good time, then I can see why you want to catch a movie. But for me, I really like to immerse myself into a good movie. You can’t do that with a kid kicking your seat in back, too tall Jones sitting in front of you, and loud mouth teens to your right and left! Plus, remember I can’t hear, so it’s not real fun watching a movie you don’t understand.

What I do is get movies when they come out on DVD and play them in my computer, or on the flat screen in the DVD player. I have headphones I plug into them so I can hear great. Sometimes I use the closed caption system, but it’s hard to read the words and watch the action at the same time.

So what kind do I like? well, that depends on my mood, but generally good action, drama, comedy and epics in that order. I loved the spider-man set, lord of the rings, the X men and some of the superman ones. I also really like the “deep” ones, the kind that make you think. Like The deer hunter, The unbearable lightness of being, traffic, once upon a time in America, stuff like that.

Yes I also watched broke back mountain, cute guys! You still can’t find many crossdresser movies, unless it’s an “artsy” one playing in a few small film festivals. I guess we have to put up with tootsie, the new hairspray and boys don’t cry, which by the way was very good and moving. One type of movie I don’t like is horror. If it has some type of real plot in it, then ok. Like The shining or Carrie. But flat out slasher flicks like Jason or Friday the 13th part 8, forget it!

Gays seem to be the “in” thing right now with “different” movies. I have a big backlog of movies I want to see, I just don’t have the time! Maybe I’ll make my own and put it in the gallery page. “Betty the little school girl meets the big bad wolf, then gets trapped inside with the 3 bears”. Let’s see, that would go in the “crossdresser porn” category, lol!
