Shaping eyebrows for crossdressers

how to shape your eyebrows

Yes it’s time for another crossdresser makeup tip from your little Betty. So today it’s the eyebrows. Now, men have two strikes against them when it comes to brows. They have more heavy, thicker brows, and they are generally lower on your face than a woman.

But, we crossdressing girls can do a little about both, and I’ll explain how. Almost every man has brows that are too thick. So, that means we will need to wax them. Now, waxing brows does not hurt very much. The brow hairs come out pretty easy. There are basically two types of wax for brows, liquid you heat and apply, or strips. I have tried both, and I like the strips better.

With strips you can cut them just the way you want, and don’t have to hurry up like liquid before it hardens. I myself use strips made by Nair, but any good brand will do. You can find them at any department stores or beauty shop. Normally they will come with brow “forms”, simple cutouts that you choose which most matches your brow style. You just hold the form up on your brow and take any hair around it away.

I have very wide brows, so the first thing I do is make a strip to take off all the really wide parts. With strips you rub the covered strip in your hand to get the wax warm. Then you peel the strip apart like a band-aid. the sticky part you apply to the area you want to remove. Push the tape in the direction of your brow hair. That is, if the hairs flow to the right, start on the left side and push the tape down from left to right.

Ok, now once it is pressed down nice and firmly, grab the tape at the far side, in our example that would be the far right. You will pull it up and toward the left, where you started. So, tense up your skin so it’s tight, grab the far corner, and in one quick, even jerk pull it up and toward where you started, YYYiihhwwwwww!!

If you do it right it does not hurt much, just a quick sting. Now keep holding the form up and cut small strips so your taking off just a thin slice each time. Your trying to make a curve in your brow, with the ends coming to a point. It takes a LOT of practice. The thing is to take very thin slices off so you don’t overdo it. If your brows come close together you will want to slice them off so they stay apart.

One important thing is, if you need to make your brows thinner, take off the brow on the underside, toward your eye, not the top. You want to keep a high brow, so take anything you need off under your brow. You can make a curve that way, at least a little. So with any luck you have got your brow thin, maybe with a little curve to it. At the least you can get rid of very shaggy, too long brows.

If you really are into it, you can take your whole brow off and use a brow liner to paint it anywhere you want! But, most can’t do that. Now, once we do our makeup and eyeliner I’ll show you how to use the eyeliner or brow pencil to make your brow look longer. So, just go slow, take off very little each time, and you’ll get better. Your foundation and cover will hide a lot of loose small hairs too. That’s it, hope you got something out of this!
