Should all crossdressers want to go out crossdressed?
Hi everyone, hope your all doing well. I belong to several crossdresser forums, and it sure can be interesting to see some of the things people write about. One thing I have seen is some crossdressers who seem to think that if your really a crossdresser, your goal should be to dress up enough to go out in public, and do it.
That sure seems to me to be a bit presumptuous of them. Hell, crossdressers already face getting looked down on by everyone else, then we have some of our very own crossdressers who say we are not “really” crossdressers unless we want to go out in public!? The trouble is that CD’s are such a huge mix.
We have crossdressers that just want to wear some panties and maybe pantyhose to bed or to work under our clothes. Then we have some that just want to dress up a little around the house. Some just have a fetish about a type of clothing, high heels, pantyhose, costumes or some other item.
Then we have the others that go all out, shaving it all, wigs, makeup, breast forms, hip pads, the works. They, or a lot of them, want to go out in public and even pass as a woman. That seems to be the goal, to finally pass as a female. But some think that we all should be doing that. If not, we are just some ,,hobby CD’s!
Well I’m here to tell you that everyone is different, and we all have different levels of crossdressing. I myself love wearing those naughty costumes. That seems to be a low percentage of crossdressers, as most want to dress in dresses, womens outfits and stuff like that. I have no desire to go out in public crossdressed.
I have gone out to a club crossdressed, but I knew it was for fun and I had no illusions that everyone knew I was a guy. Let’s face it, some of us, maybe most of us, just don’t have the looks, body or shape to ever pass as a woman. We ARE males after all, we look a lot like,,,, guys!!
I have a feeling that a lot of crossdressers who really want to pass are actually transsexuals. I even read about a crossdresser talking about new breast implants they got. Now I just don’t think of crossdressers as someone who gets implants. Transsexuals, yes, but not someone who is a crossdresser.
Then we have the ones who love those female mask and even those full body silicone suits. So there are lots of levels. Lets keep it clear, the term crossdresser means to wear clothing of the opposite sex. That’s it, done, end! That term takes in almost everyone if you think about it!
So please, if you want to go out in public and try to pass as a female, fine. Knock yourself out, have fun, I’m sure you look great. But don’t put down all the other crossdressers just because they don’t want to take that next step. Not all of us want to swim the English channel!
